StubHub is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Finance to join its Finance organization and serve as a key strategic partner to business leaders and senior executives. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Finance, this role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, translating complex financial and operational data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
The Senior Manager will partner closely with leaders across StubHub's business units and functional domains to develop forecasts, evaluate new opportunities, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure resources are deployed against the company's highest-priority initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a strategic finance partner to business unit leaders, proactively identifying financial and operational risks, opportunities, and emerging trends
- Leading headcount and vendor planning across supported business units, partnering with senior leaders to understand resource requirements and establish investment priorities
- Evaluating and sizing new initiatives and investment opportunities, developing business cases, scenario analyses, ROI frameworks, and financial models
- Developing scalable reporting frameworks that provide business leaders with actionable insights
- Building and developing a high-performing team while establishing best-in-class Strategic Finance processes and analytical frameworks
This is a player-coach role requiring someone equally comfortable building detailed financial models, developing executive-level narratives, and leading a team. The ideal candidate will help define and build a best-in-class Strategic Finance function, establishing scalable processes and reporting that improve decision-making across the organization.
