The Senior Manager of Special Projects will oversee critical cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, reporting directly to the VP of Special Projects while collaborating closely with the COO and CEO.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive project plans with clear objectives, scope, and deliverables; assembling and leading high-performing cross-functional teams with clear direction and task delegation; managing project resources including budget, materials, and personnel; identifying and mitigating project risks proactively; serving as primary stakeholder contact and communicating regular progress updates; implementing quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet standards; and generating detailed status reports for senior management.
The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and the ability to thrive amid changing priorities.
