Pebl is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Payments to lead the accounts payable and global payment operations function from Bengaluru. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting to senior finance leadership, responsible for managing a team of AP specialists and owning the full payments lifecycle across 185+ countries. Key responsibilities include: - Strategic oversight of global accounts payable, including invoice automation, vendor master data management, vendor onboarding, payment execution, and intercompany settlements - Ensuring timely and accurate money movement, reconciliation, and consistent application of AP policies and controls across all subsidiaries - Daily management of AP operations, including mailbox management, weekly payment runs, and payables forecasting - Partnership in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, reconciliations, and audit support - Driving operational improvements in exceptions, retries, reversals, and escalations - Collaborating with Payroll, Accounting, Treasury, and Product teams to design and build Pebl's global payments strategy - Serving as business owner for payments performance and employee experience, ensuring speed, reliability, and ease of use - Holding internal business partners accountable to performance SLAs and accuracy standards - Supporting cash forecasting goals in partnership with Accounting and FP&A The ideal candidate brings 7-10 years of experience heading global payment operations, vendor management, and accounts payable. Required qualifications include a Master's in Finance or BA/BS in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience), excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite, NetSuite, and ideally ZIP. The role requires ability to work across global time zones and manage a high-performing team that delivers measurable improvements in payment performance within the first 12 months.
