Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, seeks a Senior Manager of Inventory Operations to lead enterprise-wide inventory accuracy and control across rapidly scaling manufacturing operations.
You will own end-to-end inventory accuracy targets and build the systems, processes, and teams required to achieve best-in-class performance. Key responsibilities include designing and scaling cycle count programs across all facilities, building and leading a team of inventory control specialists, leading year-end physical audits, and establishing governance frameworks including policies, SOPs, and corrective action protocols.
This is a full-stack role requiring fluidity between strategic and tactical work. You will partner with analytics teams to build reporting dashboards and tooling, brief executives on inventory health metrics and trends, drive hands-on operational improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT to ensure scalable, integrated processes. You will also evaluate and implement inventory management technologies (ERP, WMS, barcode/RFID systems) and define control standards for new facility launches.
Required: 8+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record building and scaling cycle count programs with sustained accuracy improvements. Experience managing and developing inventory control teams, deep knowledge of inventory methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analysis, root cause analysis), and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and warehouse management systems. Strong analytical mindset, excellent executive communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Preferred: experience in high-growth manufacturing or defense/aerospace environments, familiarity with advanced analytics tools (SQL, Python, Tableau), APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP), and experience implementing RFID or barcode scanning technologies.
