This is a hands-on manager role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
In this position, you will partner with the Director of Marketing Communications to develop and implement internal communications strategy, serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and cross-functional teams across the organization. You'll translate complex business information into clear, relevant, and engaging communications tailored to diverse audiences—including corporate office staff, remote workers, and Fulfillment Center team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing communication plans for company priorities, organizational changes, major initiatives, and policy updates
- Leading the strategic approach to Microsoft Teams and continuously improving the SharePoint intranet, including channel governance, content organization, and team member experience
- Creating audience-specific communication strategies recognizing different needs across office, remote, and fulfillment center populations
- Evaluating the full channel mix (email, Teams, SharePoint, newsletters, town halls, digital signage, video, texting) to reduce duplication and improve engagement
- Writing and editing company announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, presentations, talking points, FAQs, and other materials
- Supporting leaders with town halls, company meetings, videos, and presentations
- Managing the internal communications editorial calendar, intake, planning, approval, and publishing processes
- Gathering feedback and analyzing channel and campaign performance through surveys, focus groups, and analytics
- Supporting adoption of AI and digital tools through communication campaigns and educational content
- Creating flyers, digital signage, graphics, toolkits, and other internal materials
- Identifying communication gaps and driving process improvements
You'll work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel (a few times per year) for internal meetings, company events, and team member engagement.

The company emphasizes core values including safety, integrity, and embracing change, with a culture that values collaboration, growth, and work-life balance.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing communications, corporate communications, or related field
- Demonstrated experience shaping internal communications strategy and translating it into thoughtful plans, high-quality deliverables, and measurable results
- Meaningful experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint as strategic communications channels (not simply publishing content)

- Experience communicating with multiple team member audiences
- Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to make complex information clear, concise, relevant, engaging, and actionable
- Proactive self-starter with strong business judgment; ability to work through ambiguity and manage initiatives with minimal supervision

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills; ability to influence stakeholders across functions and manage competing priorities
- Willingness to use data and feedback to evaluate communications and make recommendations for improvement
- Interest in AI and emerging workplace technologies
- Ability to travel a few times per year
- Bonus: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing, or related field; experience with Canva; experience supporting large, distributed, frontline, manufacturing, or fulfillment-center workforces
