Faire is a technology wholesale platform connecting independent retailers globally with suppliers and products. The company is preparing for public company operations and seeking a Senior Manager of Global Equity to own and scale its equity programs end-to-end. In this role, you will have complete ownership of Faire's global equity operations, spanning plan design, administration, accounting, compliance, and employee experience across all award types and jurisdictions. You'll serve as the senior operational owner, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People teams to build durable, audit-ready processes that scale with company growth. Key responsibilities include leading public company equity readiness (SEC reporting, insider trading programs, audit preparation, internal controls design), overseeing the full equity lifecycle (grant issuance, vesting, exercises, share pool management, GL reconciliations), designing and optimizing equity systems and Shareworks integrations, and acting as a trusted advisor on complex equity matters for employees and executives. You'll also proactively manage global regulatory, tax, and compliance risk across multiple jurisdictions. You bring 10+ years of stock plan administration experience in complex or high-growth environments, with deep expertise in global equity programs, legal/tax/payroll considerations across jurisdictions, and proven experience scaling equity through private-to-public transitions or public company operations. CEP certification is strongly preferred. You're proficient in Shareworks or equivalent platforms, skilled at cross-functional influence, and resourceful in rolling up your sleeves. A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or equivalent practical experience is required. The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco with flexibility to work remotely within the PST zone. Hybrid employees work in-office three days per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, plus one flex day) with up to four weeks annual remote flexibility.
