Nusano is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management during a critical growth and commercialization phase. The role partners closely with executive leadership, functional business leaders, and accounting teams to provide financial insights supporting strategic decision-making in a capital-intensive environment.
Key responsibilities include owning annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes; developing integrated financial models for operating plans, capital expenditures, and cash flow forecasts; leading monthly financial performance reviews with variance analysis and KPI reporting; partnering with project leaders on capital project monitoring and ROI assessments; supporting stage-gate investment decisions; and driving continuous improvement of FP&A processes and systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning expertise with experience in dynamic, capital-intensive industries. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; 7+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience; advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities; experience supporting executive leadership through business planning; strong monthly financial reporting and variance analysis skills; advanced Excel proficiency; and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred qualifications include an MBA or master's degree; experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, energy, or capital-intensive industries; experience supporting large capital projects; familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence platforms; background in pre-commercial, high-growth, venture-backed companies; and experience preparing materials for executive leadership, boards, lenders, or investors.
