7shifts is a scheduling and payroll platform serving over 55,000 restaurants. As Senior Manager, FP&A, you will own the financial planning and analysis function, reporting to the Senior Director of Finance with one analyst reporting to you. You are responsible for the complete financial model end-to-end, ensuring it remains current as headcount, tools, and performance drivers evolve. You will develop deep expertise in every assumption and be able to defend the model to leadership and the Board. Key responsibilities include: owning and maintaining the financial model in Drivetrain; creating monthly narratives that explain what moved and why for leadership and Board consumption; leading annual budgeting and reforecasting processes for operating expenses; ensuring accuracy and integrity of ARR reporting in Finqore; partnering with GTM Operations and business leaders to understand revenue performance and variances; coaching and developing your analyst; and leveraging AI to automate workflows, run consistency checks, and accelerate analysis and reporting. You bring 5+ years of FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within B2B SaaS. You have owned a financial model end-to-end and understand its key drivers deeply. You have a proven track record coaching analysts and creating space for their growth. Your modeling and forecasting work is thorough, with well-documented assumptions. You can communicate the financial story to both finance and non-finance audiences, including Board-level stakeholders. You are comfortable setting direction independently and making sound judgments with incomplete information. You actively use AI in your work and can articulate how it has improved your processes. Desirable qualifications include a CPA designation, experience with NetSuite or Drivetrain, and knowledge of restaurant or hospitality operations. The role offers meaningful opportunity to shape how the FP&A function operates and to build processes and rhythms that support business growth.
