inKind is a fintech platform transforming restaurant financing and customer engagement by providing growth capital to restaurants while helping consumers discover dining experiences nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Events Marketing to build and lead our events function from the ground up. This role owns the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of all inKind events—spanning industry conferences, executive dinners, restaurant launches, product launches, recruiting events, and company offsites. You will create distinctive, memorable experiences that strengthen the inKind brand while delivering measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines creativity with commercial thinking, developing innovative event concepts that stand out while ensuring every event has clear objectives, defined success metrics, and demonstrable ROI. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute inKind's annual events strategy and calendar aligned with company goals - Design creative, differentiated event concepts that generate excitement and strengthen brand positioning - Act as the central events partner across all company pods, helping teams transform ideas into high-impact experiences - Plan and deliver external events including conferences, trade shows, restaurant launches, customer events, executive dinners, and brand activations - Support recruiting and employer brand initiatives through university programs, tech meetups, hackathons, and community partnerships - Lead internal events including all-hands meetings, company celebrations, leadership offsites, and team events - Manage event budgets, vendors, venues, logistics, travel, production, and on-site execution - Define success metrics for every event (pipeline, revenue influence, partner engagement, attendance, brand awareness, social reach, satisfaction) - Track, analyze, and report event ROI to optimize future events and maximize return on investment - Develop scalable event playbooks, templates, and processes that enable pods to execute events while maintaining brand standards - Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Partner Success, Talent Acquisition, and Executive Leadership Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience managing corporate, marketing, experiential, or brand events - Strategic mindset with ability to align events to business objectives - Strong project management and organizational skills - Creative thinking combined with data-driven decision making - Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships - Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and departments
