Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager for its Event Sponsorship Program to develop and execute sponsorship strategies across the company's marketing events portfolio. This hybrid role (based in Menlo Park or New York) reports into the Events team and requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to drive revenue and meet business goals. Create compelling sponsorship packages, proposals, and presentations tailored to potential partners across Snowflake's growing portfolio of proprietary events.
- Identify, pitch, and secure sponsors for global strategic events, ensuring alignment with event and brand objectives. Manage the full sponsorship lifecycle from prospecting and negotiations through activation and renewal.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sponsoring partners to ensure their success and satisfaction. Actively seek opportunities to upsell and expand partnerships year-over-year to drive sales growth and provide continued value.
- Track and report on sponsorship performance, delivering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Use data, analytics, and financial insights via Snowflake AI tools to evaluate opportunities and maximize ROI. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new sponsorship opportunities.
- Proactively identify, resolve, and foster alignment with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Alliance, Partner, Sales, and Event Production teams to ensure all sponsor commitments and event activations are executed flawlessly.
- Establish overarching objectives for the sponsorship program that extend beyond the immediate function, ensuring the program accelerates partner growth and contribution to the Snowflake ecosystem.
- Manage and grow a small internal team supporting event sponsorship packages and manage vendors who support this function across the events portfolio.

Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience with at least 3 years in sponsorship sales with a strong track record in revenue generation and partner engagement
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sponsorship initiatives that drive business impact
- Strong experience in complex, matrixed organizations with exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Skilled in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with attention to detail and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
