Nutanix is seeking a Senior Manager - Consulting to lead the Customer Success consulting team in Pune, India. This role combines technical leadership with customer-focused strategy, managing a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants while driving customer outcomes and project delivery.
You will lead a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional support and technical expertise for Nutanix's Hyperconverged Infrastructure solutions. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you'll operate in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment that emphasizes initiative and independent thinking.
Key responsibilities include: leading and managing consulting teams to achieve customer outcomes; administering and troubleshooting Nutanix and VMware environments; developing architectural strategies in collaboration with engineering teams; acting as a trusted advisor to clients on best practices; driving project management with a customer-centric approach; generating growth plans based on customer trends; and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development within your team.
You bring minimum 10 years of virtualization consulting experience with strong VMware and Nutanix expertise, plus at least 3 years managing technical teams. Deep knowledge of VMware ESX, data center virtualization, and hands-on proficiency with Nutanix/VMware environments is essential. You excel at communication, documentation, and client engagement. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS is preferred; relevant certifications (NCP, VCAP/VCIX-DCV) are advantageous.
The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in Pune a minimum of 3 days per week. Approximately 15% travel is expected for key project deliverables and customer engagements, primarily focused on direct client support and on-site technical delivery.
