The Senior Manager, Construction leads Roofstock's Construction organization, overseeing renovation, turn, and capital improvement programs across multiple markets. This role manages a team of Construction Specialists and Senior Construction Specialists, establishing scalable processes, data-driven decision-making, and a culture of accountability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the construction team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Owning operational performance: ensuring projects complete safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs (cycle time, budget adherence, quality, customer satisfaction, contractor performance)
- Driving operational excellence through standardized processes, playbooks, and quality controls across markets
- Partnering with Vendor Management to build and maintain a high-performing contractor network
- Regular travel to supported markets for property inspections, quality validation, and vendor relationship strengthening
- Leading workforce planning aligned with business demand and growth
- Cross-functional collaboration with Property Management, Field Operations, Asset Management, Product, Finance, and People Operations
- Championing AI, automation, and technology-enabled workflows to improve scalability
- Analyzing operational and financial performance to identify efficiency improvements
