Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Asset Improvement to lead the Design & Construction team's capital project execution. Based at headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA, this role reports to the Sr. Director of Design & Construction and oversees a team of project managers executing small to mid-sized capital investments ($100k–$10M) across the United States.
The role focuses on "day 2" improvements—post-occupancy infrastructure enhancements, industrial development, office space upgrades, and facility improvements to existing assets. Success requires responsiveness, the ability to work in occupied spaces, and delivery on tight timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
**Leadership & Strategy**: Establish business objectives and align resources; develop vendor strategies enabling nationwide project execution; balance scope, cost, and schedule trade-offs; maintain strong stakeholder connections across the RE&F organization and business lines; foster a unified team culture.
**Project Execution**: Set project goals and mentor staff; implement processes, tools, and controls; oversee quality delivery and smooth operational transitions; provide guidance and risk mitigation; serve as escalation point for delivery issues.
**Business Insight**: Develop and analyze core metrics; identify performance trends and drive operational improvements; stay connected to industry trends and test new solutions.
**People Development**: Hire and develop a capable team; build a team-centric environment with mutual respect and accountability; establish career development pathways.
