Aviso, a leading Canadian wealth management organization, is seeking a Senior Manager of Advisor Learning & Development to join their Learning and Development team in Toronto. This is a player-coach role that combines hands-on curriculum design and facilitation with people leadership. You will lead a small team of learning professionals while personally contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high-impact learning programs for Credit Union Advisors. Your focus will be on building technical capability and sales effectiveness to enable advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth advice to members. Key responsibilities include: - Leading end-to-end design and delivery of advisor curriculum, from scoping learning objectives to producing learning assets - Managing the lifecycle and governance of Academy programs, ensuring content remains current based on feedback, regulatory changes, and operational needs - Continuously improving learning experiences by identifying enhanced delivery techniques and leveraging learning technologies - Leading and coaching a team of learning professionals: setting goals, assigning work, providing feedback, and removing roadblocks - Acting as a learning consultant to internal partners, conducting needs assessments and translating requirements into prioritized learning plans - Ensuring all programs and materials comply with regulatory requirements for training licensed individuals You will apply modern adult learning methodologies and partner closely with Credit Union Wealth Leaders, Sales Enablement, Compliance, Service Centre, and Operations teams. Success is measured by strong participation in programs, faster advisor proficiency, improved learner satisfaction, and measurable reductions in errors and service escalations. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive experience in adult education and learning & development within financial services, preferably with 5+ years in financial planning/advisory roles. You should have 3–5 years of people management experience with demonstrated success in leading teams. A post-secondary degree in Business, Education, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
