Salary: USD 172,000 - 176,300 / annual

You will join the global Finance team as Senior Manager, Accounting, leading a core accounting group in New York City. This is a hands-on people management role where you will own month-end and year-end close across global entities, drive US GAAP consolidations, implement SOX-ready controls, and build scalable workflows to support hyper-growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles; establish closing schedules and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Review and approve journal entries, complex accruals, prepaid schedules, and critical balance sheet reconciliations
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal accounting policies and controls to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Directly manage, mentor, and foster the professional growth of accounting team members; prioritize workloads and maintain high standards of execution
- Prepare tax reports and regulatory filings for US and Canada entities
- Partner with external auditors and consultants during interim and annual audits to address and resolve accounting issues
- Collaborate across departments to align financial processes with broader business objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams or serving in a controllership capacity
- Experience working within a global high-tech environment
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional accounting experience; 3+ years managing teams or in controllership capacity; experience in high-growth or hyper-growth environments
- Must have legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship
