Starface, a cosmetics company founded in 2019 known for innovative hydrocolloid pimple patches and expressive skincare products, is seeking a Senior Logistics & Operations Associate to support day-to-day execution of logistics and operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Logistics, you will own key operational workstreams across outbound logistics, retailer fulfillment, and distribution center management, ensuring products move efficiently from third-party warehouses to customers and retail partners.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for distribution center partners with focus on outbound logistics to retailers; ensuring on-time order fulfillment across assigned retail partners and sales channels; partnering with Finance on procedural compliance for inventory, warehouse operations, and fulfillment/transportation costs; and traveling to distribution centers approximately twice yearly for physical inventory counts.
You will help maintain and develop standard operating procedures, vendor guidelines, and routing guides. You'll analyze operational data to identify trends, measure performance against key KPIs including retailer chargebacks and claims management, and support continuous improvements to 3PL warehouse fulfillment processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Additional responsibilities include managing retailer chargebacks by reviewing dispute claims, identifying root causes, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies; participating in user acceptance testing for system updates; and providing backup support for inbound logistics as needed.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or fulfillment within the CPG industry across ecommerce and/or brick-and-mortar retail. You should have hands-on experience with 3PL warehouses, distribution centers, and B2B order management; strong understanding of supply chain operations including inventory management, warehouse operations, freight logistics, and retailer order fulfillment; and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), warehouse management systems, and advanced Excel. You are data-driven, comfortable analyzing operational metrics, take ownership of work, and can independently manage priorities in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. You excel at identifying root causes of operational issues and implementing practical solutions, communicate effectively across teams, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, retailers, warehouses, and external partners.
