Cosuno is a B2B marketplace connecting general contractors and subcontractors across the construction industry. As Senior Lifecycle & Retention Manager, you will build the growth engine that converts new users into active, paying, and retained customers. You'll be one of the first marketing hires, shaping how the team operates as it scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute CRM programmes and lifecycle journeys that drive adoption and conversion, from initial tender discovery through paid conversion for subcontractors, and early product adoption to repeat tendering for construction companies.
- Partner with the Marketing Lead to build an agentic, signal-driven system that transforms behavioural data, call insights, and enrichment signals into personalised next-best-action triggers, replacing static journeys with autonomous decision-making systems.
- Run A/B tests and holdout groups to measure incremental impact and base decisions on data, not campaign output.
- Scale successful experiments into repeatable systems rather than one-off campaigns.
- Coordinate journeys with Sales and Customer Success teams, determining when human touch is more effective than automation.
- Leverage CRM as a marketplace liquidity tool—matching the right subcontractors to the right tenders—and orchestrate email, in-app, transactional communications, and marketplace recommendations as a unified journey with Product.
- Support growth programmes such as referrals from design through CRM execution.
Requirements:
- Proven ownership of CRM, lifecycle, retention, or growth programmes with demonstrated commercial impact, ideally in B2B SaaS or two-sided business models.
- Direct influence on conversion, activation, or retention metrics with strong data and experimentation skills.
- Genuine AI-native experience: proven track record building AI-driven automation or agentic CRM systems (not just using AI for copywriting).
- Ability to write and run SQL queries independently.
- Self-directed problem-solver who moves from data → insight → idea → implementation → result without needing every step defined; comfortable building from scratch in ambiguous environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams; prioritizes measurable business impact over campaign output.
- Plus: hands-on experience with ActiveCampaign and Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
