As a Senior Labour Relations Specialist in Employee Relations and Transitions (EMEA focus), you will serve as a critical extension of clients' HR teams, managing complex employee lifecycle matters with expertise in global employment law and compliance. This role sits within the Lifecycle team, which shapes the future of work by delivering fast, intuitive, and impactful HR solutions. Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Separations**: Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. Lead workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations. Draft and administer termination documents with strict attention to privacy and confidentiality. Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliant offboarding. **Employee Relations Support**: Provide first-level guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, and identify applicable local regulations. Support clients in understanding progressive discipline approaches and documentation requirements. Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders. **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, collaborating with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance teams. Serve as subject-matter expert on offboarding and employee relations matters for both internal and external stakeholders. **Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values and goals. You will navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional employment scenarios, influence positive outcomes in difficult terminations, and help clients understand applicable policies and best practices across diverse regulatory environments.
