Scalable Capital, a leading European digital investment and banking platform, is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join its highly motivated software engineering team in Vienna. You will design and implement user interfaces that make complex financial services like investing accessible to everyday users, working on the full app lifecycle from ideation through App Store delivery.
In this role, you will be empowered to implement, improve, and suggest technical and product enhancements across the iOS platform. You'll experiment with new technologies to maximize iOS capabilities, build visually rich user experiences, and write clean, testable, well-documented code with security as a first-class concern. You'll collaborate with software engineers, academics, and product teams to drive innovation in the fintech space.
Scalable Capital operates a full banking license and serves over one million clients managing more than €30 billion across its platform. The company offers Scalable Broker (stocks, ETFs, crypto, derivatives, savings plans), Scalable Wealth (digital wealth management and white-label solutions), and additional services including the European Investor Exchange. REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or comparable qualification
- Profound working experience as an iOS Engineer
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains
- Passion for great UX and custom UI; proficiency with UIKit and Auto Layout; interest in other technology stacks
- Ability to stay current with iOS ecosystem changes
- Excellent communication skills (clear, concise, audience-aware) for engineering, product, and stakeholder contexts
- Excellent English communication skills; German optional
- Prior fintech experience is a plus but not required; interest in investing or existing Scalable Capital customer status is a bonus
