Viz.ai is seeking a Senior Information Security Manager to lead comprehensive security, compliance, and risk management initiatives across the organization. The role is central to maintaining Viz.ai's position as the #1 Healthcare AI Platform, deployed in 2,000+ US hospitals and trusted by leading life sciences companies.
Key responsibilities include owning all certification and compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, GDPR, CIS benchmarks), serving as the primary security contact for internal and external stakeholders, and leading global security awareness programs including employee training and phishing simulations. You will oversee SOC operations, manage detection rule creation and tuning, and maintain SLA/KPI performance. The role requires building and managing Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery programs, running the vulnerability steering committee, and managing the security risk register.
Additional duties include acting as incident commander for security incidents, designing and executing the annual security roadmap, managing the company Trust Center, leading the internal security policy lifecycle, auditing onboarding/offboarding processes, and monitoring the company's external digital footprint using attack surface management tools.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of information security experience with meaningful time in GRC, security operations, or hybrid roles. Required expertise includes hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR certifications; strong SOC operations and SIEM knowledge; incident response leadership; Third-Party Risk Management program experience; and vulnerability management across cloud and corporate environments. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential for representing security to customers, auditors, and executives.
