Oura is a health-tech company that empowers people to understand and improve their sleep, activity, and readiness through its award-winning Oura Ring and connected app. The company is implementing Workday as its core HRIS and seeks a Senior HRIS Analyst to serve as the hands-on technical expert responsible for system configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration. Reporting to the VP of HR Operations, you will own the end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday business processes including hire, job changes, compensation, terminations, absence management, and performance workflows. You'll translate HR and business requirements into reliable, well-architected solutions within the system, partnering closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and business stakeholders across Oura's global footprint. Key responsibilities include: configuring and deploying Workday business processes with conditional rules, routing, notifications, and approval chains; continuously optimizing people systems to simplify workflows and reduce workarounds; designing intuitive self-service workflows and forms for employees, managers, and HR teams; maintaining security groups, domain policies, and role-based access controls; building and executing test scripts for configurations and biannual Workday releases; creating custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards for HR and business insights; supporting integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and other third-party systems; maintaining documentation and training HR and people managers on new functionality; and evolving the role as the company and Workday tenant mature. This role involves regular collaboration with colleagues in Finland (10 hours ahead of US Pacific Time), with standard meetings between 6–9 AM Pacific and occasional earlier or late-evening calls. Occasional travel to Finland (1–2 times annually) is expected. Required qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM administration and configuration experience, including business process framework, calculated fields, and condition rules; demonstrated ability to independently configure, test, and deploy changes across Workday tenants (sandbox/preview/production) following change management best practices; solid understanding of Workday security model (security groups, domain/business process policies); and comfort auditing and remediating access issues.
