Salary: USD 154,200 - 192,800 / annual
Mercury, a fintech platform providing banking and treasury solutions for startups and technology companies, is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to modernize and optimize its HR technology landscape. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will serve as a strategic partner to HR and Compensation leaders, leveraging deep Workday expertise to streamline processes, automate manual work, and enhance employee experience across the organization.
Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday Core HCM and Advanced Compensation modules to support business processes and organizational requirements. You will evaluate and recommend optimal Workday compensation designs aligned with organizational growth, job architecture, and Total Rewards strategy. This includes configuring compensation grades, salary ranges, compensation plans, eligibility rules, and annual merit cycles.
You will develop and maintain HR and Compensation Workday reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, and configure Workday security for new implementations, acquisitions, reorganizations, and system enhancements. You'll troubleshoot complex security issues including domain permissions, business process security, and role-based access controls.
Additional responsibilities include configuring and maintaining worker lifecycle events (hire, onboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, leave, termination), documenting system configurations and procedures, and partnering with the People team to evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions within Workday and related HR technologies. You will support additional Workday modules as needed.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience); 5+ years of Workday functional experience including configuration and support; 3+ years supporting HCM and Advanced Compensation modules; experience supporting organizational changes including new entities, acquisitions, reorganizations, and global expansion; experience in complex organizations with multiple business units and international employee populations; expertise configuring Workday security, business processes, organizations, staffing models, and worker lifecycle events; experience building Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and data validation reports; and experience configuring Workday compensation structures and annual compensation review cycles.
