Remote is a global HR compliance platform enabling businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams across 80+ countries. The Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions role is a critical customer-facing position within the Lifecycle team, serving as an extension of clients' HR departments.
You will manage end-to-end employee offboarding and exits across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance while delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include: managing complex employee separations and terminations; providing first-level employee relations support to clients navigating workplace concerns; drafting and administering termination documents with precision; coordinating with internal teams (payroll, legal, benefits, time & attendance) and external stakeholders (government bodies, trade unions, legal counsel) to ensure compliant exits; facilitating meetings including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations; and serving as a subject-matter expert on offboarding and employee relations matters.
You will also conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns, guide clients through progressive discipline approaches, monitor ongoing cases, and actively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. The role requires deep expertise in employment law across multiple jurisdictions, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to balance competing interests while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. This is an individual contributor role with significant influence over customer outcomes and company strategic initiatives around compliance coverage and operational capacity.
