As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist focused on Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role sits within the Lifecycle team, which is responsible for maintaining gold-standard HR practices while integrating cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
**Offboarding & Employee Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. This includes handling terminations, resignations, transfers, redundancy processes, and complex negotiations. You will draft and administer termination documents, coordinate with payroll, legal, government bodies, and trade unions, and maintain strict adherence to privacy regulations.
**Employee Relations Support**: Provide first-level guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, identify applicable local regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Support clients in understanding progressive discipline approaches and documentation requirements.
**Stakeholder Coordination**: Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations and administrative hearings. Influence positive outcomes in complex terminations while balancing competing stakeholder interests.
**Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values.
**Subject Matter Expertise**: Serve as the go-to expert on offboarding and employee relations matters, responding to internal and external queries and navigating clients through Remote's resources and policies.
You will work with Remote's HRIS platform and collaborate across multiple internal verticals including Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance to ensure seamless employee exits.
