Remote is a global HR compliance platform enabling businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams across 80+ countries. The company operates fully remotely with a distributed workforce across six continents. As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist in Employee Relations and Transitions (HRBP), you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role combines deep expertise in global employment law with exceptional customer service delivery. Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior client experience. Lead consultation meetings, facilitate negotiations in complex terminations, and balance competing stakeholder interests. Draft and administer termination documents with strict attention to detail and privacy compliance. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams. **Employee Relations**: Provide first-level ER support, guiding clients through workplace concerns and coordinating appropriate resources. Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace issues, identify applicable local regulations, and support clients in understanding progressive discipline and documentation requirements. Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely follow-up. **Stakeholder Coordination**: Liaise with internal teams (Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits) and external stakeholders (government bodies, trade unions, legal counsel) to ensure compliant and timely administration of employee exits. **Subject Matter Expertise**: Serve as the go-to expert on offboarding and employee relations matters, responding to internal and external queries. Navigate clients through Remote's ER resources and policies. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. The role emphasizes innovation and leveraging AI/automation capabilities. You'll work asynchronously with a globally distributed team, bringing expertise in international employment law, employee relations best practices, and customer-centric problem-solving to shape the future of global employment compliance.
