As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist focused on Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role sits within the Lifecycle team, which is responsible for maintaining and elevating HR practices through cutting-edge technology solutions. Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations. Draft and administer termination documents with strict attention to detail and privacy compliance. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams. **Employee Relations Support**: Provide first-level guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, and identify applicable local regulations. Support clients in understanding progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation requirements. Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders. **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Liaise with internal teams (Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits) and external stakeholders (government bodies, trade unions, legal counsel) to ensure compliant and timely resolution of offboarding activities. Serve as subject-matter expert on offboarding matters. **Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's core values and goals. The role requires navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional employment law, balancing competing stakeholder interests, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, global environment. You'll work asynchronously with a distributed team and have direct influence on Remote's ability to sustain compliance coverage and enhance customer journeys.
