As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist in Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role sits within the Lifecycle team, which is responsible for maintaining and elevating HR practices globally while integrating cutting-edge technology solutions. Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Employee Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. This includes handling terminations, resignations, transfers, redundancy processes, and employment contract matters. You will lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations. **Employee Relations Support**: Provide guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, identify applicable local regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Support clients in understanding progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation requirements. **Compliance & Documentation**: Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents with accuracy. Maintain employee records with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations. Liaise with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliance. **Internal Coordination**: Process offboarding on Remote's HRIS platform, collaborating with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, and other internal teams. Serve as subject-matter expert on offboarding matters. **Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. You will navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional employment scenarios, influence positive outcomes in difficult situations, and balance competing stakeholder interests. The role requires expertise in international employment law, strong communication skills, and the ability to work asynchronously in a distributed team environment.
