The company operates fully remotely with a distributed workforce across six continents. As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist focused on Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role combines expertise in global employment law, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Employee Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. This includes handling terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes. You will lead consultation meetings, facilitate negotiations in complex separations, and coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliant offboarding. **Employee Relations Support**: Provide first-level guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, identify applicable local regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Support clients in understanding progressive discipline approaches and documentation requirements. **Documentation & Compliance**: Draft, tailor, and administer termination documents with precision. Maintain employee records with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, collaborating across Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance teams. **Subject Matter Expertise**: Serve as the go-to expert for offboarding and employee relations queries from both internal teams and external clients. Navigate clients through Remote's resources and guides, helping them understand applicable policies. **Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and product enhancements that elevate customer and employee experience. You will work asynchronously within a globally distributed team that values innovation, compliance excellence, and customer-centric solutions. The role requires balancing multiple stakeholders with competing interests while maintaining the highest standards of HR practice.
