As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist focused on Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role combines technical HR expertise with client-facing advisory work in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key responsibilities include:
**Offboarding & Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. This includes handling terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes. You will lead meetings with clients and external employees, facilitate workforce reduction consultations, and negotiate complex separation outcomes while balancing competing stakeholder interests.
**Employee Relations**: Provide first-level ER support by conducting preliminary assessments of workplace concerns, identifying applicable local regulations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Guide clients through progressive discipline, documentation requirements, and ER policies.
**Compliance & Documentation**: Draft, tailor, and administer termination documents with precision. Maintain employee records with strict adherence to privacy regulations. Liaise with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliant offboarding.
**Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and product enhancements. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values and goals.
**Subject Matter Expertise**: Serve as the go-to expert on offboarding and ER matters, responding to internal and external queries and providing guidance on complex international employment scenarios.
