As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist focused on Employee Relations and Transitions, you will serve as a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, managing complex employee exits and providing first-level employee relations support. This role sits within the Lifecycle team, which is responsible for maintaining and elevating HR practices while integrating cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
**Offboarding & Employee Exits:** Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions with a focus on legal compliance and superior customer service. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and termination negotiations. Draft, tailor, and administer termination documents with strict attention to detail and privacy compliance. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams.
**Employee Relations Support:** Provide first-level guidance on workplace concerns, conduct preliminary assessments of employee relations matters, identify applicable local regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for appropriate case handling. Support clients in understanding progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation requirements. Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely follow-up.
**Stakeholder Coordination:** Liaise with and coordinate internal teams (Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance) and external stakeholders (government bodies, trade unions, legal counsel) to ensure compliance. Serve as subject-matter expert on offboarding matters and respond to internal and external queries.
**Process Improvement:** Actively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance customer and employee experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values and goals.
You will work with clients across diverse jurisdictions, requiring strong knowledge of international employment law, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder situations with diplomacy and precision.
