Remote is a global HR platform enabling businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. The Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions role is a critical position within the Lifecycle team, serving as a trusted advisor to Remote's external clients on complex HR matters. In this role, you will independently manage end-to-end employee exits and provide first-level employee relations support across multiple international jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include: Offboarding & Separations: Manage complex employee exits with minimal supervision, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations. Draft and administer termination documents with precision, maintaining strict adherence to privacy regulations. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams. Employee Relations: Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns, identifying applicable local regulations and potential solutions. Provide comprehensive guidance on progressive discipline, documentation requirements, and best practices for handling difficult situations. Serve as a trusted resource for both internal and external stakeholders on complex ER matters. Leadership & Process Improvement: Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's goals. Influence positive outcomes in complex terminations by navigating multiple stakeholders with competing interests. You'll leverage your expertise across key jurisdictions to advise clients on termination procedures, employment contracts, redundancy processes, and other HR matters. You'll coordinate with external stakeholders including government bodies, legal counsel, and trade unions to ensure compliance.
