Remote is a global HR platform enabling businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. As a Senior HR Lifecycle Specialist in Employee Relations and Transitions (APAC focus), you will independently manage complex end-to-end employee exits and provide first-level employee relations support to Remote's external clients. Key responsibilities include: managing offboarding across multiple international jurisdictions with minimal supervision, providing expert guidance on terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy processes while ensuring legal compliance. You will lead and facilitate meetings with clients and employees, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations. The role requires influencing positive outcomes in complex terminations while navigating multiple stakeholders with competing interests. You will draft and administer termination documents with precision, maintain employee records under strict privacy regulations, and process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform while coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams. Additionally, you'll conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns, identify applicable local regulations, and serve as a trusted resource for both internal and external stakeholders on employee relations matters. As a senior individual contributor, you will mentor junior team members, provide expertise and guidance, and drive process improvements aligned with Remote's strategic goals. The role emphasizes innovation, leveraging automation and AI capabilities, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of HR practice across diverse global employment contexts.
