Holidu, a fast-growing vacation rental technology platform serving 40k+ hosts and 4 million annual guests, is creating a new Senior HR Controlling & Analytics Manager role at the intersection of Finance and People functions. Based in Munich with hybrid flexibility (50%+ in-office), this newly created position reports to the CFO and collaborates closely with the VP People.
You will build Holidu's personnel cost planning and tracking infrastructure from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: establishing and owning the personnel cost base covering headcount, cost planning, and budgeting logic; running monthly personnel cost tracking and forecasting by cost center with timely deviation flagging; transforming backward-looking HR reports into forward-looking metrics (churn risk, hiring capacity forecasts, cost trajectory); preparing people data narratives for board and leadership presentations; designing and owning internal data dashboards; and leveraging AI tooling to automate manual analysis and reporting.
You bring at least 5 years in analytical or controlling roles (FP&A, HR Controller, Business Controller, People Analytics, or Total Rewards). You have advanced Excel modeling skills with proven experience building and owning planning and forecasting models. You demonstrate hands-on proficiency with AI tools and can provide concrete examples of how they've accelerated your analysis. You are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable setting priorities independently. You excel at translating data for non-technical stakeholders by understanding their decision needs and delivering actionable recommendations suitable for leadership presentations. You prioritize precision and discretion over speed, recognizing that numbers shape salary and headcount decisions. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. Experience with Personio, SAP, or BI tools like Looker Studio is advantageous.
