Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote-first cybersecurity company that has built NodeZero, an autonomous penetration testing platform used by organizations ranging from educational institutions to Global 100 enterprises. The company was founded by former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators and startup engineers, and is focused on helping organizations proactively identify and fix exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them.
The Senior HR Business Partner will be a strategic people leader embedded with the go-to-market organization (Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing). This is a high-impact role that bridges people strategy and business execution in a fast-scaling environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary HRBP to GTM leadership, translating revenue goals (quota attainment, pipeline growth, retention) into organizational design and talent strategies
- Coaching sales leaders on performance management, accountability, and team building in quota-driven environments
- Driving performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, calibration) with emphasis on differentiating top and low performers
- Using data to identify and address performance, retention, and engagement risks (attrition, ramp time, productivity)
- Advising on organizational structure, territory coverage models, and segment strategies to support efficient scaling
- Partnering with RevOps and Finance on headcount planning, productivity expectations, and compensation alignment
- Leading talent reviews and succession planning for key GTM roles
- Supporting onboarding and ramp programs for new GTM managers and leaders
- Managing employee relations issues with sound judgment and business acumen
- Building and facilitating training, workshops, and development programs tailored to GTM needs
The role requires 7-10 years of HRBP experience in high-growth GTM or sales organizations, with deep knowledge of sales motions (SDR, AE, CS), performance metrics, and productivity drivers. You'll need strong coaching skills for sales leaders, comfort with data-driven decision-making, and the ability to operate strategically while executing hands-on in a fast-paced environment. Experience with globally distributed teams, strong stakeholder trust-building, and HR program expertise (employment law, performance management, employee relations) are essential. Up to 10% travel is expected to attend departmental events like Sales QBRs and planning sessions.
