Diligent, an AI-driven governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS leader, is creating a newly established Senior HR Business Partner role reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is a strategic, high-impact position focused on driving organizational effectiveness, leadership capability development, and workforce planning across a business unit or regional pod. You will serve as a trusted strategic HR advisor to senior leaders, with core responsibilities spanning organizational design, talent and succession planning, and executive coaching. A central mandate is holding senior leaders accountable for their own growth as leaders—coaching them with rigor to ensure they level up their teams alongside their own development. You'll translate business strategy into people plans, lead strategic workforce planning (including navigating the intersection of AI agents and human capability), and drive talent and performance cycles including goal-setting, compensation reviews, and 9-box calibrations. Key responsibilities include: partnering with the HR Director on broader people strategy implementation; turning workforce and engagement data into actionable business insights; owning escalated employee relations investigations; coaching SLT members and providing direct feedback on leadership behavior; and acting as practice lead for cyclical HR activities within your pod, ensuring consistent support across time zones. You'll need proven experience as a senior HR partner to business leadership (ideally within an SLT or equivalent structure), strong expertise in org design and strategic workforce planning, and a track record of coaching senior leaders with direct, challenging feedback. Experience leading complex employee relations escalations, familiarity with HRIS systems, and openness to AI-enabled HR operations are essential. You should be collaborative, business-minded, solutions-oriented, with strong judgment and stakeholder management skills—comfortable operating in a newly defined role where boundaries with adjacent HRBP tiers are still evolving.
