Salary: USD 139,200 - 182,700 / annual
Ambience Healthcare is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to build and lead the company's first dedicated HRBP function. Reporting to the Head of People, you will serve as the primary strategic partner to people managers and leaders across the organization, operating as a trusted advisor on business-critical people decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the named point person for the people-leader population, running cadences through high-change moments including goal setting, performance reviews, engagement surveys, and follow-up initiatives.
- Build and own the annual manager training calendar and content deployment, including first-time manager training and an AI curriculum rolled out across the organization.
- Steward the company's goals and OKRs program: own individual key results, audit goal quality each cycle, and build tooling to track goal health so teams can self-run effective goal-setting processes.
- Coach leaders through employee relations matters, organizational design decisions, leveling discussions, and headcount planning in close alignment with the Head of People.
- Drive operational efficiency by automating the recurring People operating rhythm using existing tools and AI, from goal-health tracking to coverage cadence and survey follow-up.
You are a problem solver who builds simple, direct solutions and removes friction. You embed with leaders rather than operate as a support desk, starting from what the business is trying to achieve and shaping people work around those priorities. You are a critical thinker who structures messy problems, ships in phases, and can sit in difficult employee conversations to help leaders think clearly through trade-offs. You influence without authority, earning trust quickly with experienced, strong-willed leaders.
You bring 6+ years of progressive HR experience including direct HRBP and manager-coaching work. You are fluent across business partnering, employee relations, performance management, L&D, organizational design, and compensation fundamentals. You default to systems over heroics and build things that outlast you. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports.
