Camunda is seeking a Senior GTM Systems AI and Automation Engineer to design, build, and operate the AI-powered infrastructure connecting go-to-market systems across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and Account Development. You will own the AI and automation layer of a Salesforce-centric revenue stack, including AI agents, LLM integrations, MCP servers, retrieval pipelines, backend services, and workflow orchestration. Key responsibilities include designing and building AI agents and LLM integrations that connect Salesforce, Gainsight, Slack, Salesloft, Clari, HubSpot, Impartner, and other GTM tools to reduce manual work. You will architect the GTM Systems AI layer using MCP servers, APIs, retrieval pipelines, reusable agent tools, and serverless/containerized services on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions). You will ship production-grade LLM capabilities with appropriate guardrails: prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, structured outputs, automated evaluations, validation, fallback logic, confidence thresholds, human escalation paths, access controls, audit logging, and cost/latency management. Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and SDR/ADR leaders to identify automation opportunities, translate requirements into maintainable solutions, and deliver incrementally. You will raise the engineering bar for the GTM Systems team through code review, automated testing, CI/CD, security governance, observability, and technical documentation. Design and deploy workflows on orchestration platforms such as Camunda and Clay, creating playbooks so GTM teams can operate automations independently. Required: 5+ years software engineering experience (backend, systems integration, data, or automation), with 2+ years shipping LLM/AI capabilities into production. Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency with mature Git practices. Deep hands-on command of LLM patterns and their failure modes. Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs and other business systems, plus cloud platform experience (GCP preferred). Ability to own problems end-to-end with minimal guidance and communicate clearly in remote, asynchronous environments. Nice-to-haves: Model Context Protocol (MCP) experience, agent frameworks, vector databases, AI observability tools, orchestration platforms, Revenue Operations/GTM Systems background in B2B SaaS, lightweight UI building skills, Salesforce certifications.
