LemFi is a Series B fintech company building a financial platform for the Global South, enabling immigrants to send remittances, access multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and wealth-building tools. The company processes over $1B in monthly transactions across 30+ countries and serves millions of users globally.
As Senior Growth Manager for the Italy-Nigeria corridor, you will drive user acquisition and market expansion within Nigerian diaspora communities in Italy. This is a hybrid role combining strategic growth planning with on-the-ground community engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Travel across Italy 3-5 days every few weeks to establish physical presence in new cities, attend Nigerian community events, and build partnerships with local leaders and organizations
- Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to Nigerian ex-pat communities in Italy, owning growth targets and optimizing campaigns using data
- Source, negotiate, and manage Italy/Nigeria-focused influencers, creators, community leaders, and external agencies to drive organic growth
- Lead community-driven initiatives including organizing local events, meetups, and forums to build trust and advocacy
- Identify and manage partnerships with relevant organizations to accelerate user growth, ensuring measurable outcomes tied to user acquisition
- Conduct market research to understand user needs and behaviors, serving as the internal voice of the user to Product and Marketing teams
- Track campaign performance rigorously, measuring customer acquisition cost of offline activities
You will work across paid channels, organic strategy, local agency partners, and product teams, acting as both a strategic thinker and ground-level operator embedded in the communities served.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with background in growth, sales, marketing, or similar
- Deep understanding of Nigerian and diaspora communities in Italy; cultural fluency and comfort immersing in new cultural environments
- Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results; motivated by ambitious goals and comfortable with clear KPIs
- Strong data-driven mindset; ability to interpret data, track performance, and adjust strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders; persuasive communicator who can influence partners and leaders
- Entrepreneurial and tenacious; takes ownership, pushes through obstacles, biased to action
- Self-motivated and effective working independently; willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends
Nice to have:
- Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets
- Background in fintech, payments, or diaspora-focused products
