EliseAI is a venture-backed AI company (Series E, $250M raised) focused on deploying agentic AI into housing and healthcare workflows. The company helps renters and patients navigate complex processes (apartment tours, lease signing, appointment scheduling, intake forms) while enabling organizations to reduce manual work and improve accessibility.
As Senior Associate, Strategy & Positioning, you will own high-impact projects end-to-end, moving products and capabilities from undefined to sharply positioned, then building and executing go-to-market programs that drive pipeline and revenue. The role spans strategic and operational work: in a given week, you might develop positioning and messaging for a product capability, architect automated customer engagement programs, build enablement materials for major launches, and analyze performance data to refine approach.
Key responsibilities include:
**Positioning & Value:** Develop positioning and messaging for specific products and capabilities, translating complex AI functionality into clear, differentiated value propositions. Analyze win/loss trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to surface insights that sharpen value articulation and focus areas.
**Customer Engagement & Growth:** Design and build automated customer engagement programs—nurture sequences, onboarding flows, retention campaigns—that drive measurable pipeline acceleration and lifetime value. Track and analyze engagement performance using data and dashboards to identify what works and how to improve.
**Go-to-Market Execution:** Execute product launches from positioning through delivery, coordinating across Product, Sales, and Customer Success. Create high-impact sales enablement tools (decks, one-pagers, training materials). Contribute strategic thinking to leadership conversations about growth, market expansion, and customer value. Help attract top-tier talent.
You will operate with high direction and support on strategic priorities but own execution fully—from strategy through delivery, including technical build where needed. The role is ideal for someone with a strategy, consulting, or operational background who wants to apply that rigor to problems that directly determine how an AI company grows, and who is excited to get into technical details of building systems, not just defining strategy.
The company emphasizes speed, autonomy, and impact: full autonomy with no micromanagement, high expectations, and the opportunity to write playbooks rather than follow them.
**Requirements:**
- 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy & operations, growth, or a generalist role at a high-growth startup
- Biased toward action and comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear plans and execute them independently
- Precision communication (product narratives, decks, executive presentations)
- Equally comfortable with strategic thinking and technical execution; willing to define strategy and build the system that delivers it
- Natural relationship builder across functions; able to influence without authority
- Willing to work in person at the NYC office 4 days per week
