As Business Development Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 Business Development Representatives and own the end-to-end provider prospecting motion. You will build the operating system that creates qualified provider opportunities and drives repeatable growth, turning inbound interest and outbound outreach into qualified meetings for the Growth team. Key responsibilities include: - Building and developing a high-performing BDR team, defining operating rhythm, setting clear expectations, and holding the team accountable for results - Owning and refining the BDR motion across segmentation, account prioritization, outreach, qualification, meeting conversion, and handoffs - Owning qualified meeting and opportunity targets; using funnel data to diagnose performance gaps and drive improvements - Ramping new BDRs and improving team performance through live prospecting, call reviews, direct feedback, and coaching on qualification and objection handling - Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring exceptional BDR talent as the team scales - Using CRM and prospecting data to improve account prioritization, territory coverage, lead routing, and team productivity This is a hands-on leadership role requiring high autonomy and ownership mentality. You will coach through live scenarios, develop your team, define prospecting strategy, and partner with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Growth to scale the team effectively. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years of experience leading and coaching a team of BDRs or SDRs - Track record of building repeatable outbound motions and delivering against team targets - Demonstrated ability to develop reps, ramp new hires quickly, and address underperformance through direct feedback and coaching - Strong analytical judgment to diagnose prospecting and conversion breakdowns and translate insights into improved team performance - Experience bringing structure to fast-moving environments by building prospecting playbooks, onboarding programs, and inbound/outbound workflows using CRM, AI, and automation tools - Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals - High NPS with former teammates
