Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Global Sourcing Manager for PCB/PCBA to serve as the domain expert for printed circuit board and assembly commodities. This is a high-impact role responsible for securing critical components, materials, and services that power Anduril's defense systems, which are powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for military command and control. You will develop and execute comprehensive commodity strategies for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience. Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of delivering quality parts at the right cost and timeline, leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, and managing relationships with external contract manufacturers. You will own continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and new product introduction to manufacturing operations. You will partner closely with engineering teams and contract manufacturers to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements. This includes performing detailed total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) analysis on quote submissions, evaluating every element of the supply chain, and making data-driven decisions. You will negotiate key agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, and service terms. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you will work with engineering, program management, and executive leadership to support prototype requirements, execute build milestones, and advance new supplier and product offerings. You will provide technical direction within PCB/PCBA commodities, evaluate and guide product strategy throughout the lifecycle, and manage supplier performance metrics including delivery, quality, cost, and innovation. Regular technology reviews to executive staff and acting as primary escalation for your commodity are core responsibilities. Required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field; 8+ years in supply chain category management of printed circuit board assembly, electronics manufacturing, or sourcing engineering; ability to travel up to 50%; willingness to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local. Preferred: Bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering; prior experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries; expertise in TCO analysis; strategic thinking with commodities strategy/roadmap development; proven cross-functional leadership and communication; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. TS/SCI clearance.
