Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Total Rewards team designs and operates benefits programs supporting employees globally. As Senior Global Benefits Manager, you will own the design, delivery, and governance of benefits programs across all countries where Mixpanel operates. This is a senior individual contributor role that leads cross-functional initiatives without direct people management. You will work independently on complex, ambiguous problems—new country launches, plan redesigns, M&A integrations—and translate them into clear, actionable plans. Key responsibilities include: - Lead design and continuous improvement of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple countries, balancing local compliance with consistent philosophy - Scope and lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives by defining problems, identifying stakeholders, and choosing approaches with limited initial direction - Own global vendor and broker relationships, including renewal negotiations and accountability to cost/service commitments - Serve as Mixpanel's compliance expert on ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR, and international equivalents; monitor regulatory changes and assess impact - Analyze program cost and utilization data to identify savings and inform annual budgeting; present findings as clear recommendations to leadership - Build benefits education and self-service resources that simplify complex programs for employees - Identify opportunities to apply AI and new tools to speed up reporting, analysis, and employee support You should have demonstrated experience leading complex, ambiguous cross-functional projects independently (not just executing defined processes). You need working knowledge of benefits and employment compliance frameworks (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, international equivalents). Vendor/broker management experience is essential, including renewal negotiations. You should have a track record of converting cost and utilization data into actionable recommendations, comfort adopting new tools including AI, and strong communication skills across diverse audiences (employees, partners, vendors, senior leaders). Sound judgment and high independence in fast-changing, multi-country environments is critical. A degree in HR, business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Bonus qualifications: experience with global benefits platforms (Paylocity, Bswift), relevant certifications (CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP), M&A or new country entry experience, or benefits program building in high-growth distributed companies.
