As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will join Carta's rapidly growing Fund Administration team, which has achieved proven product-market fit in the venture capital space. You will partner with top venture capital firms to streamline their financial accounting needs and provide strategic support across multiple service areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting capital calls, audit/tax support, and pre/post-close services for fund clients
- Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and Limited Partner communications
- Helping clients leverage real-time IRR, portfolio data, and performance metrics (TVPI, RVPI)
- Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams to improve the Fund Administration software suite
- Consulting with clients on implementing Carta's Fund Administration platform
- Translating a service-based business model into a software-driven offering

Required qualifications include strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, experience with venture capital/private equity/hedge fund administration, familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
