As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design and implement end-to-end features across web applications and backend services, taking complete ownership from requirement to production. You'll work across the full technology stack, solving complex engineering problems that haven't been solved before. Your responsibilities include:
- Design and implement end-to-end features spanning web applications and backend services
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scale, and user experience standards
- Write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests
- Interface with other engineering teams to maintain structured, coherent feature delivery
- Manage and debug features from testing through production
- Translate customer requirements into clear, deliverable task plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers
The role is based in the London office with a hybrid arrangement: three days per week onsite (with an option to work four days per week for an additional financial allowance). You'll work with clients ranging from the world's largest financial institutions to regional banks, requiring deep attention to configurability, customization, and user experience across diverse personas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in writing modern web applications
- Experience writing REST APIs and services
- Keen eye for detail and passion for clean, readable, properly tested code
- Experience integrating automated tests into the development lifecycle
- Interest in client-facing projects, including scoping requirements and defining deliverables
- Proactive approach to learning and development
Desirable:
- Knowledge of banking/finance
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
- Proficiency in Golang or Python
- Understanding of UX and UI principles
- Experience with Figma and UI frameworks
- Visual design skills
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with client/server or microservice architectures and networking
- Experience with Kubernetes
