Strada builds AI agents that automate insurance operations end-to-end, handling claims, policy changes, billing, and servicing across legacy insurance systems. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll work at the forefront of agentic AI, developing, evaluating, and deploying systems that handle complex insurance workflows. You'll have significant ownership and work closely with customers to build products they'll love. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to shape both the product and engineering culture as the company scales.
In your first week, you'll ship your first PR to production with minimal onboarding, get hands-on with the agent platform, and understand the architecture behind automated insurance conversations. Within 30 days, you'll own a meaningful feature or system improvement end-to-end—from design to deployment—and start shaping technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and infrastructure. By 90 days, you'll take ownership of a core product area (conversational AI, workflows, or integrations) and drive its roadmap, lead technical initiatives that ship directly to customers, help establish engineering best practices, and have a real seat at the table on product and technical strategy as an early engineer at a high-growth company.
The role emphasizes customer-first thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a small, high-performing team with substantial momentum.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, preferably at startups
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Strong attention to detail and eye for design
- Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Track record of owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects
- Customer-first mindset and interest in talking to users
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience deploying reliable LLM-based products in production
- Experience with Vite + TanStack technologies (Router/Query/Table)
- Experience with Temporal
- Experience working with data-intensive or real-time applications
