Rohirrim is pioneering enterprise AI with Rohan, a patented, domain-aware generative AI platform that helps Fortune 1000 companies, aerospace and defense organizations, and government agencies automate complex processes like RFP creation and knowledge management.
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale our generative AI-powered enterprise web applications. This is a hands-on, senior-level role where you will architect services, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to both backend and frontend features (approximately 50/50 split, with flexibility). You will collaborate closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to deliver secure, scalable AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and build scalable backend systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Develop APIs and services in Nest.js/Node.js, integrating with databases, LLM providers, and external systems
- Build and integrate features powered by generative AI, including LLM orchestration, prompt design, and retrieval-augmented workflows within Rohan
- Contribute to frontend development in Angular/TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experiences
- Write efficient, maintainable SQL queries and design database schemas for application features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable AI-driven solutions
- Ensure high code quality via testing, code reviews, and best practices
- Participate in system design discussions and help set technical direction, including how AI/LLM capabilities are architected into the platform
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Nest.js/Node.js
- Hands-on experience with a JavaScript UI framework (Angular/React/Vue)
- Strong SQL skills (schema design, query optimization)
- Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, workflows)
- Hands-on experience integrating with LLM providers/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) in a production application
- Practical experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
