Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team designs and integrates advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms, owning the full development lifecycle from concept through flight test.
As a Senior Fuel Systems Engineer, you will design and develop aircraft fuel systems supporting multiple air vehicle programs from concept through testing and qualification. Your responsibilities include performing detailed design of fuel system components (tubing, pumps, filtration, gauging, venting, refueling/defueling systems), partnering with software engineering, systems, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers on hardware integration, and supporting component selection, prototype builds, qualification testing, and system integration throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with senior engineers and fuel systems architects while gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex fuel system designs.
Required qualifications include a B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), 8+ years designing aircraft fuel systems or closely related aerospace fluid systems, experience supporting the product lifecycle from concept through testing and qualification, proficiency with Siemens NX or comparable CAD software (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks), strong understanding of fluid mechanics and mechanical design fundamentals, excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience with suppliers, component selection, or prototype development; experience with one-dimensional fluid analysis tools (AMESIM, Flowmaster, Easy5, or similar); and an active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
