PagerDuty, a NYSE-listed leader in Digital Operations Management, is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to serve as the primary finance business partner for the go-to-market (GTM) organization. This is a high-visibility strategic role reporting into the CFO/Strategic Finance leadership. You will own the analytical backbone of GTM planning, forecasting, and measurement. Key responsibilities include: • ARR and revenue forecasting: Build and maintain pipeline, retention, and ARR forecasts; drive weekly forecast cadence with sales leadership; reconcile bottoms-up views against top-down targets; pressure-test gross and net retention assumptions through cohort analysis. • Annual planning and quarterly forecasting: Lead the sales finance workstream, including S&M expense-to-revenue targets, productivity assumptions, and scenario modeling. • Expense management and variance analysis: Provide detailed variance analysis for the sales organization, identifying risks and opportunities. • Sales compensation and headcount planning: Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Accounting on headcount capacity planning and commission design aligned to GTM strategy. • Reporting and tooling: Build durable, self-serve dashboards and models that reduce manual work cycles and enable the team to operate at higher altitude. Lead by example in adopting AI-first finance workflows. • Executive communication: Prepare crisp analyses and materials for the CRO, CFO, CEO, and Board; translate complex financial data into clear, actionable decisions. You will work directly with sales leadership and finance executives to inform quarterly guidance, board-level reporting, and strategic resource allocation decisions. Required qualifications: 6–10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in FP&A or sales/GTM finance at a SaaS or subscription software company (public-company experience strongly preferred). Strong financial modeling and SQL skills; deep fluency in SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, etc.); solid grounding in revenue recognition and revenue waterfall mechanics. Experience with pricing/packaging transitions, consumption models, or usage-based revenue is a plus. Must demonstrate strong executive presence, cross-functional partnership ability, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to lead projects and guide others. AI fluency (Claude) and familiarity with EPM tools (Anaplan, Pigment) and Salesforce are valued.
