Paraform is seeking its first dedicated FP&A Manager to serve as the financial and strategic backbone of the company. This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to executive leadership, responsible for building FP&A end-to-end from scratch.
Key responsibilities include: owning the annual budget and monthly/quarterly/annual planning across revenue, OpEx, headcount, and cash; designing the company's operating rhythm, planning calendar, and approval workflows; selecting and implementing a planning platform (Anaplan, Pigment, or similar) through RFP to rollout; owning marketplace economics and unit economics (GMV, take rates, LTV/CAC, payback); serving as senior finance partner to functional leaders across GTM, Product, and Operations; producing board decks and investor reporting; driving P&L improvements in gross margin and operational leverage; and leveraging AI and automation to make finance leaner and faster.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in progressive FP&A, investment banking, or consulting roles at high-growth tech companies, ideally marketplaces or transaction-based businesses. Required experience includes building budgets and planning processes from scratch, selecting and implementing planning systems, strong grasp of marketplace and SaaS metrics (GMV, take rate, NRR, CAC/LTV, unit economics, rule of 40), building complex driver-based financial models, Excel and BI proficiency, extreme attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. Candidates should be excited about designing and automating processes with AI, comfortable with modern finance stacks, and energized by ambiguity in a fast-scaling environment.
