As a Finance Specialist on the tax team, you will support and coordinate across multiple financial functions including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Billing. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to become a key contributor to a collaborative, diverse finance team while gaining hands-on experience in financial control and administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with accounting management, supervision, and submission of taxes across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting preparation of annual accounts and managing tax and legal matters
- Managing invoicing and electronic invoicing systems, expense controls, and treasury management
- Supervising invoice accuracy and correctness
- Reviewing figures, tax rates, and amounts across different jurisdictions
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, supplier and customer controls
- Supporting all financial departments and resolving tax-related issues
You should have 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or taxation (from law firms, management companies, or similar roles). Required qualifications include fluent Japanese and high-level English proficiency, a background in business, finance, or accounting, and experience managing high-volume invoicing. Experience with international financial matters is a plus.
